Li’l ones showcased their talent in Fancy Dress Competition. The children were dressed up beautifully. Mothers and Grand Mothers were invited on this occasion.  A number of games were also planned for them like knot a tie, recitation of the Kids Rhymes, sing old songs and sing Lull – by .The certificates were awarded to the winners. Antakshari was also organised for the grand mothers.

INNOKIDS (Cantt. Jandiala road)  celebrated Yoga Day in the school premises  with the aim of promoting the ancient science of Yoga for physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being of children and to thereby create a more peaceful world around. The programme covers classical yoga techniques. Yoga is the scientific way of living healthy and increasing life expectancy.

The li’l ones of KG-II had fun in Popping Party. They danced to the beats of music on their last day in Kindergarten. The auditorium was set ablaze with a ramp walk. The day was a fiesta devoted to the years spent together with friends and teachers to reminisce joyous moments. When the party ended, everyone was reluctant to leave.

Show and tell is a key part of the learning development. To enhance the learning capacity of the li’l ones, “Show and Tell Competition was oganised. The students brought their favorite objects for this activity.  They beautifully described their objects and even managed to include a social message in the descriptions. They spoke about the life of a Pen, Kiddy Bank (how you can save money), their favourite gadgets like a mobile fan, camera, pen drives and a magical sphere to name a few.  This competition helped the students to gain confidence and to enhance the vocabulary and public speaking skills.

Paper Folding Competition was conducted for the kids of Nursery of Innokids -the Pre Primary Wing of Cantt- Jandiala. Our Li’l ones took part in it enthusiastically. They created beautiful images with colourful papers. They made various animals, nature scene etc. The creativity of dear ones astonished us.  The objective behind this activity was to find out the latent creativity of the students and to boost up the confidence of the students.

Maha Shivratri Celebration

The students of Pre-Primary Wing celebrated festival of Maha Shivratri with full devotion and sanctity. Students, dressed up as Lord Shiva. Students took part in dance and Bhajans with Lord Shiva. They wore colourful and different costumes. A story, related to the life of Lord Shiva was narrated to the children. Every Year this festival is celebrated with a lot of religious   fervour and devotion.

Practising handwriting is an incredibly important exercise for children, enabling them to develop fine motor skills, confidence and most importantly their very own style. Aligned with the objective, Handwriting Competition was organised for the li’l ones.

The religious Hindu festival of Basant Panchmi was celebrated at INNOKIDS-the Pre-Primary Wing of IHS (Cantt. Jandiala Road) with religious fervour and gaiety. The tiny tots of INNOKIDS came in yellow attire. They danced on the beats of dhol. The li’l ones were excited. As per the theme, the campus was decorated with items of yellow colour to mark the occasion.

“Freedom in Mind, Faith in Words, Pride in Our Hearts,
 Memories in Our Souls, Let’s Salute the Nation on this Republic Day”.
  Innocentians showed their Patriotic Zeal and fervor and salute the National Flag. The school campus was echoing with the sound of Jai Hind.

English Poem Recitation Competition

English Poem Recitation Competition:

“Poem is meant for enjoyment. Beauty is the realm of poetry; the children enjoy the beauty of expression, thoughts, feeling, rhyme, rhythm and music of words.”

Taking all these facts into consideration, the children got an opportunity to exhibit their skills. The children choose a variety of topics for their recitation like nature, trees, flower, mother, teacher, unity in diversity etc. They expressed themselves with a lot of zeal and enthusiasm. Judges appreciated and applauded the performance of the participants and the children enjoyed the competition.
