BSc Medical Lab Sciences
“The MLS program is a three-year curriculum. The course of study is a combination of instruction in fundamental principles of selected laboratory techniques as well as clinical experience in affiliated medical laboratories. Students learn theory and to perform clinical laboratory procedures in phlebotomy, microbiology, blood banking, clinical chemistry, hematology, immunology, histopathology and urinalysis. They also learn to operate and maintain basic clinical laboratory equipment.”

Duration /semester: 3 Years/ 6 Semester
All those candidates who have passed the 10+2 with Physics & Chemistry as compulsory subjects and either Mathematics or Biology conducted by a recognized Board / University / Council.
Those candidates who have passed their Matriculation examination AND have also passed three year Diploma in MLT Trade from Punjab State Board of Technical Education & Industrial Training, Chandigarh or such Examination from any other recognized State Board of Technical Education.
B.Sc. Medical Lab Sciences (Lateral Entry)
Candidates who have passed Diploma in MLT or Pharmacy with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
University examinations are taken twice every year as per following schedule.
Odd Semester : November and December (Every year)
End Semester : April and May (Every year)
Fee structure for the course is notified every year by the University.
